in the first game, against a qb who didn’t know which team to throw the ball to, the bills scored 28 points. afterwards all the local talking heads talked about the jets’ “dominating” performance. what did people expect? i expected a better offensive performance, but no better from the other side.

There is plenty of blame to go around from the lack of a quality OL, to a defense which was being touted as one of the best since Rex was hired. Sorry it hasn’t panned out, the defense is a doormat to 200 yards per game in 4 games. There is no pass rush and there are absolutely no offensive weapons. Hill is promising, granted, but promising doesn’t equate to production and WR’s generally take a few years to develop. The running game is absolutely dismal and the Jets have to go into another direction. Greene is not the RB he was 3 years ago, and the Jets would be crazy to offer him any kind of contract in the future. The defense is slow and old especially the LB corps.

I am beginning to think that Ryan’s headset wire is not actually attached to something on the other end. This team has been ready to play the designated opponent exactly once out of the last 5 tries, going back to the Miami bust on new year. Maybe he should go back to predicting the SB every 10 minutes and weighing 375. Seemed to work out better. He’s about as happy a pretending to be a skinny guy who doesn’t bluster as Hannibal Lechter was with the bite mask on. He thinks “sanchise” is “the answer”. That is true if the question is “which QB is dead last out of 32 in completion percentage”? (hint: who wears number 6 and spends as much time on his back as Eva Longorio). Ryan is on his way back to DC at the Calgary Stampeders.

I cannot understand why they don’t insert Tebow into the game when it’s going as badly as this game did. What on earth do they have to lose? He certainly couldn’t play any worse than Sanchez is playing. And he’s the kind of player who can inject life into the game. His one pass was a completion and would have gone for a first down (and how many did the Jets get today?) had the receiver not fumbled the ball away on a hard hit. It’s time to try something different, especially with the only two offensive stars down with injury.

Bulls**t. Rex Ryan will pull Sanchez just to shake him up. Tebow will throw a pick and run for 70 yards. Sachez chokes. Its what he does. I know I have seen him do it. They should have bought a decent back up
