compensatory picks will be announced next week at the league meetings.

just an fyi. ( some folks were wondering/asking when they would be announced ).

Thank you. I've been waiting for this for a looong time. We will al get a chance to check the work of those kids that predict the comp picks.

What are these picks all about? Does this have anything to do with picks we got for Lamont Jordan, or Herm Edwards, or is this something else.? I would think we already know what picks we have from Jordan/Edwards and where they sit overall.

That kid that has figured out the formula or whatever assured that we will only get 1 comp. pick. One in the 3rd round.
Supposedly, he's been pretty accurate in the past.

I think he said there's a chance we'll get a 2nd in the 7th round. Of course the down side is he said there's a chance our good pick will be the 4th round instead of the 3rd...

they dont annouce comp picks (the picks for jordan/mckenzie/ferg) until next week is what he's saying, these are picks that are given to teams that lose FAs at the end of rounds...the Herm pick wasn't a comp pick in the same way it was the actualy 4th rd pick from KC given for compensation for our coach...they're different...look in the official JI mock draft to see where the comp picks are placed (at the end of rds 3-7)

we should probably get a 3rd for l.jordan/rb.
