OT: Knicks down 40+ in Boston

3 quarters done...Celtics 82, Knicks 41.

What an embarassment. Isiah needs to go as coach and GM. However, the bigger problem is Dolan.

This is just embarassing though. It's on TNT right now.

RutgersJetFan 11-29-2007 10:09 PM

I.....I just can't take it anymore. I really thought we started building something last year, but it's all a farce, a few players gave me my first glimmer of hope in such a long time, and I overrated them as a result.

I give up, until Dolan's gone I just don't know if I have it in me anymore, this has been going on almost a full decade now, I've put in my time, and I can't do it anymore.

crazyjetsman28 11-29-2007 10:14 PM

to think I was actually excited for the Knicks this season, for the first time in ages...thank god for hockey.

BlueDevilJet29 11-29-2007 10:21 PM

The Dolans have to be the worst owners in sports. The Knicks are a mess and this whole thing needs to be blown up and restarted. However, with Dolan there I don't know if there's a solution. Isiah getting fired might be a start.

JV51 11-29-2007 10:27 PM

I ride with them.

NoExcusesNYJ 11-29-2007 10:33 PM

and to think that the knicks were on a winning streak!

funny thing is they have basically played against the reserves all second half

just pathetic

What's up with those ugly ass jersey's the Celt's are wearing? Black has no business in their uni's.

The thing is the Dolans should be good owners. They spend a fortune on the team every year which is what you want from an owner. James Dolans problem is he is pigheaded with these terrible personnel decisions and hates the fact that the media criticizes him and the organization and he doesnt act in the best interest of the franchise instead taking the criticism personally and giving a bog middle finger to the rest of the world.

The problem starts with Isiah who is the worst GM in the NBA, though I still think the Zach Randolph trade was a good one. I think even the Knick blinders are going away from the most ardent supporters in regards to Isiah and the roster he built. I think they could leave Thomas as coach but he has to be stripped of his decision making power. If the team could take Rod Thorn from the Nets or bring in a guy like Jerry West who brings credibility to an operation they would get started in the right direction. After that a decision has to be made on a coach that is going to stay in place for at least a few years whether its Thomas or someone else. If they could ever convince Jeff Van Gundy to come back it would be a really good move for the team, but I think he hates the owner so its unlikely that would happen.

After that its time to gut the whole team and start over. Buy out Marbury. Trade guys like Curry and Crawford. There has to be some value in them. Trade Nate robinson if you can. I think fans will deal with a team of Q-Rich, David Lee, Zach Randolph, Renaldo Balkman, etc...and getting a high draft choice for a change.

Marv Albert said it best...

"This is the lowest point in franchise history."

Buzzsaw 11-29-2007 10:44 PM

They didn't really only score 41 through 3 full quarters did they?

Yeah, they really did.

Trade the roster for the Harlem Globetrotters. They'd still lose by 40+ but they'd put on a show.

The Celtics should never, ever have alternate jerseys. Green & White, that's it. It's like if the Yankees had alternate jerseys, it just doesn't work.

Bay Ridge Jet 11-29-2007 10:53 PM

Alternate jerseys are the worst

Joe W. Namath 11-29-2007 11:58 PM

Jump on the Nets bandwagon. They play exciting basketball and although not a great team, much better than the knicks.

24 11-29-2007 11:59 PM

Hey the Knicks are paying a team that is proving to truly be elite!
