Knicks Re-Sign David Lee

One year $7 million deal.

Another excellent move by Walsh. He keeps a good double-double guy (who btw will be excellent trade bait at next February's deadline) without overpaying for him. Also resigned Nate Robinson to a one year deal at $5 mil. Isiah or Scott Layden would have given both of them max contracts.

I'm actually looking forward to next season I think the Knicks already have a decent team with this starting five:

PG: Duhon
SG: Hughes
SF: Chandler
PF: Al Harrington
C: Lee
Bench: Nate, Gallinari, Darko

Sure we don't have any superstars but we have a lot of good role players in their contract year so they'll all be playing hard every night. Duhon, Hughes, Harrington and Lee will all be pushing themselves to the limit for a pay day next summer.

Call me crazy but I think we have a shot at the 8th seed.

Sure we do. I mean I don't expect it, but we could be right there. I'm looking forward to the progression of Gallinari and Chandler and also watching the rookies. This time next year is when the real excitement will come.
