So are we going to have some kind of JIinsider draft this year?

Probably too late to have a full one person per team draft like in the past but if we have 16 people and each person take 2 teams or 10 people and most people take 3 teams or something like that?

We'd want something that moves faster than full 32 person drafts in the past.

SenorGato 03-25-2010 11:57 PM

I call the Jets and Cardinals.

Raiders and Bills (that way, I'll pick back to back)

In fact, if we want this to go really fast, we should all take back to back teams.

I had thought of that as well but people seemed intent in jumping in for certain teams.

You can put me down for SD and Dallas (Instead of NYG) instead if you want so they're back-to-back. Doesn't really matter much to me.

But that logic is really only going to hold true for the 1st round.

NYJCAP2 03-26-2010 11:38 AM

Mine are back to back in RD 1 only, without realizing it worked that way.

6 more people. When would this thing start? and same rules as last year?

Beerfish 03-26-2010 11:55 AM

I'd be willing to commish the league if Ham can't or doesn't want to do it.

As for rules, I'd suggest the same 2 hour limit as in the past with one very hard and fast rule. As soon as the 2 hour limit is up the commish will make the pick for that person, no exceptions. It would be 100% the responsibility of the drafters to give the commish or another poster a list of picks if they thought they might miss a pick and no whining in the least if a pick is made for someone if they exceed the 2 hour limit (for any reason). That is the only way to keep a full draft moving. (Of course people would be highly encouraged to make their picks as soon as they can.)

I switched to New england and Cincy (rather than Detroit) to get the picks close to back to back.

jetsfaneh 03-26-2010 12:03 PM

I would take Miami and Denver.

doggin94it 03-26-2010 02:10 PM

Just to let everyone know - Tues and Wed are passover, so I won't be available to pick on those days. Someone will have to jump in for me
