I'm watching his interview with Sanders on NFL Network. That guy is a confident human being.

Also, he looks almost exactly like D'Brick with the face.

Could be his greatest attribute or detriment. Hard to tell if it'll rub people the wrong way, is he entitled? will he be able to handle the hard times with as much confidence? has he ever failed? does he have the support system around him with his pilfering father so involved in his career?

My worry is how will he hold up when he does fail on the field...but that's pretty much a given worry for any elite QB prospect.

just wanted to bump this and say Cam Newton is exactly what we thought he was

a beater of bad defenses that gets Carolina in the neighborhood of .500

since I am gloating I also spent alot of bandwidth being scared of Sam Bradford's durability... maybe it was all those years with chad. But they say he's really hurt his finger, the dude is a China doll.

Say what you will about Cam Newton I don't have fears of him getting injured. He tough.

...That was probably the most prolific debut by a QB in week in the history of the NFL. Can't stand in the pocket? Looked better than 40% of the QBs yesterday.
