Some good news from tonight - 11/13
While watching the Jets lose on the computer at work, at 11pm I split my screen and put up the Soyuz launch to the International Space Station, with two Cosmonauts and one NASA Astronaut, CAPT Burbank, who will take command of the ISS when they get there in a couple days. This is good news. The crew that is currently up there with their Soyuz craft have been there for so long that they need to come back very soon. If tonight's launch did not go off or was not successful, the Space Station would have been abandoned and it would have been the first time on more than a decade that there hasn't been a human presence in space (since Nov 2000 at least one American and one Russian has been on board).
