at the very least it seems like everyone in Jets land are doing the little things and going the extra mile to improve.

They clearly are trying to make a difference after last season

maybe chad can give him some pointers on dealing with the media and the pressure. or maybe they discussed bringing him in as a consultant. chad has a good relationship with sparano.

That'd probably be a great idea, as I'm sure Chad knows Sparano's O pretty well. I'd hate to see Sanchez take a step back learning a new O when the old one kicked his butt for 3 years.

They were both eating pasta.

Perhaps Chad can show Mark his signature Play Action move.

I heard about this.....Richard Todd and Matt Robinson were sharing a desert with Kenny O and Glenn Foley at the next table....

How the Jets have avoided a franchise QB for 40 years is amazing!

Agree. Sparano let Chad have the best season of his career, and letting Sanchez learn from him would be great. If Sanchez could be 50% the QB Chad was, I think we'd all be quite happy.Remember, Chad was on the scrap heep when Sparano got him.Hopefully lightning strikes twice.

All reported by Browning Nagle, brilliant!

Hopefully, Mark was begging Chad to come in as his back up this year. That would be awesome. I could pull out the old #10 jersey.

Pretty encouraging news.

If Cavanaugh is staying on as QB coach, then bring in Pennington in some kind of consulting role or give him the title of assistant QB's coach.

Forget the physical limitations, Chad knows his x's and o's and has always been regarded as a great communicator. Just the kind of guy Sanchez needs to mentor him.

That is just a silly comment but I do think that Chad would be the perfect guy to help Mark make the transition from Shotty to Sparano since he has done it before. If Sparano shows a willingness to play to our players strengths I think Mark will continue to progress and have a good season. Of course this assumes we actually pick up a #2 WR and bolster/improve the OLine.

Chad's strength would be helping Mark translate the terminology changes and to spell out what Sparano expects before they even get to minicamp.

Is that the jersey that only comes with a left sleeve?
