Not sure why I'm bothering, but here goes.
There is no doubt that Obama is a disaster as POTUS in any sane mind.
But Barack Obama is not a Muslim. He is not a terrorist. He was not born in Kenya. He did not threaten to have Chelsea Clinton murdered. Stop.
These are lies. Lies created out of desperation. Unnecessary desperation. Obama can be defeated on the record of Obama. All of this other stuff is extraneous, meaningless, and counter-productive to the cause of defeating him.
No one cares anymore how Bush was treated. Bush was a POS of equal magnitude to Obama. Obama won as a direct result of Bush's failure. No other reason. He didn't win because they called McCain names. Obama won because the GOP failed for a decade plus. It wasn't the media. It was the GOP. Democrats do not win elections. Republicans win them or Republicans lose them.
But neither of you will win over those of us that are tired of the nonsense. Those of us who want to talk about the economy and jobs and none of the crap. Some so weary, that if you keep it up, they will lose interest in supporting Romney. They won't want to be associated with the clown show. All momentum gained in 2008 will be thrown out the window.
Romney can only win this election without you. So keep quiet and go sit in the corner with the other children.
We rebuilt after the Great Gas Destruction of Spring 2008...I think we'll be OK :P
Funny thing for me is that the "destruction" of the Obama Presidency was already there when he was voted to office. He's took the wheel of the Titanic after it hit the iceberg. He hasn't had the greatest Presidency but then who would after the trainwreck he inherited?

Let's see... oh, yeah:

"Our kids are going to be fine. And I always tell Malia and Sasha, look, you guys, I donít worry about you ó I mean, I worry the way parents worry ó but theyíre on a path that is going to be successful, even if the country as a whole is not successful."
The numbers are shocking arenít they? The price of gas is up nearly 70% while oil prices have skyrocketed 125% or more. Gold is up 60%, corn is up 78% and sugar is up 168%. Unemployment is up nearly 25% and the number of people on welfare is up 22%. Worse still, the number of Americans on food stamps is up 35%.
All of this is under Obamaís watch. There are a few reasons why these numbers are so terrible. First, the national debt has risen by 32% since Obama took office in January 2009. Itís slated to rise by $1.65 trillion or even $2 trillion if the GOP doesnít raise taxes as Obamaís budget demands. The Federal government is spending money that it doesnít have and that seriously hurts American taxpayers and American consumers.
But it doesnít stop there. Since Obama took office the money supply has increased 16%. That means the Fed is printing money, thus making the money you currently have less valuable. It should of course come as no surprise that the value of the American dollar is down 8% against the more stable Japanese Yen. This is of course bad news for most Americans because it means our money will purchase less goods. Since income is down almost 1%, it means that our income is really down closer to 10% because our dollar wonít purchase as much as it did before Obama took office. The prices of the basic food commodities stated above bear that out. Also note that Cotton is up around 125% since Obama took office, which means basics like clothing cost more.
Obama has been a disaster for middle class Americans and really for all Americans. Obama and the Federal Reserve are increasing the money supply and this making our money worth less. The Federal budget continues to skyrocket with no end in sight, making things worse for all of us. Obamacare has raised taxes and raised costs for employers. As a result, employers can hire fewer workers and cannot offer cost of living raises to their employees. Obamaís massive regulation push is causing employers not to hire while Obamaís Wall Street regulations are causing investors to sit on their money rather than invest in new jobs.
Obama has made our lives worse in just two years on the job. His answer is more government. He wants more regulations, more government bureaucrats running the free market, more government involvement in your daily life. The Department of Health and Human Services under Obama spends more money in one year than the entire Federal government did in 1965. Yet Obama wants more government. There is an alternative to Obama and thatís a return to the principles of limited government that our founders believed in. We must work hard (and pray hard) that the Republicans nominate someone who believes in limited government. The current course of government is unsustainable. It will result in financial ruin for this nation. It will result in the poor house for the middle class.
What do Libs/Libertarians care about rules, tone or niceties anyway? If we followed the rules of Presidential eligibility to the letter in the 1st place, 0 would not have been eligible since his father was a British citizen, let alone any citizenship flip-flops his family made as a kid.
Now some of the things people are saying about Obama are true, some are not, but as a public figure, he should be scrutinized. A Terrorist, no. Associated with people like Ayers that were and still advocate it (e. g. Khalidi) - yes. His history, comings and goings, everything. Much is concealed. Why so serious? Born a Muslim, raised in his formative years as one with obvious Muslim sympathies as an adult. But according to you we now live in some imaginary post-9/11 era where we are not supposed to care when Easter gets dissed and Eid is feted and lies are told abroad by 0 about the importance of Islam in American history as a sop to multi-culturalism and/or Islamic interests. I have even read to my shock and dismay in this very forum the bizarre notion that it is now counter-intuitive to commemorate 9/11. Obama's rancid background is troubling to a degree, not what the focus of this election will be about but nothing to ignore either.
But as usual you know nothing of other's politics or the rationale, just condescending suppositions that should be placed where suppositories go, up the tuchus. For the record I voted for Romney in the primary then McCain in the election and will be voting for Romney again in a few weeks so Ronpaulstiltskin Sanatarium and Newt can go away. Well-meaning in some ways all but ultimately none can win as Romney can.
I agree, 0's feces-plated legacy of crapitude that is still not finished excreting should be enough for him to get ejected from office. Equivocating "independent"s and crypto-liberals will be the death of us, not folks like me.
This is the same on both sides. Every wacko democrat I know, when they talk about the Republican party, they don't talk about the rational ones with good constructive common sense ideas, they talk about the other wackos with insane destructive ideas.
I don't need wacky articles accusing Obama of unproven murders and extortion to make my points. This type of stuff does nothing for anyone.
Keep it simple:
Obama's new budget includes massive tax hikes on all Americans. From the lowest incomes on up. The Obamacare hikes alongside the Buffet Rule alongside the expiration of the Bush tax cuts for the lower and middle class equals a smaller take home pay for everyone.
Add to it a green energy policy that is failing and will continue to lead to higher fuel prices. This disproportionately punishes the lower income Americans.
Add to it a budget that even after all of the tax hikes still puts us in bankruptcy/Greek type Austerity within the next 5-10 years.
Only a complete moron would knowingly vote for a candidate with this type of platform. It is a wonder none of the supposed political wonks here on the left either know or care about Obama's economic platform. No one wants to pay more taxes and higher fuel costs.
The GOP's only job is to highlight Obama's budget and economic plans. It is a loser as will Obama be come November.
You read the chart and interpreted: "the last time gas prices spiked over $4 per gallon the economy tanked but 4 years later we are sputtering along so whatevs..at least gas prices went back up"?
