Found a pipe and a bud in my son's closet last night.
 

When I found it, I was PISSED.

A half hour after I found it, I was kinda mellow about it.

An hour after I found it, I was on line at the drive thru at Taco Bell.

I remember when I was 15 or 16 I smoked a joint while taking a shower, the thinking being that the steam would cancel out the smell.

Yeah, that one didn't work out very well. Totally busted.

My kid is 13, going into 8th grade. No sign of pot use yet.

Personally, I can't wait until he's in high school and finds a reliable source.

Seriously, it was in a rolled up poster in his closet. I went in there to look for my sneakers (we have the same size feet and sometimes he wears my stuff), and I could smell it.

Got a bunch of dispenseries in my town, the smell is so over powering the town passed ordinance to move them to a place outside of the downtown. Too many tourists complained. On a windy day you still catch a wiff, your sopne would need an underground bomb shelter to hide it.

Things could be worse.

I just want to say - parents have an extremely hard job of raising kids today - I don't envy your task.

Don't be a hypocrite. Weed is going to be legal in a few years.

I never got "caught" but my parents knew I was smoking it. Just make sure it doesn't turn into other drugs. Weed won't kill anybody, but heroin and blow will.

I always wondered how I would handle this with my kids. Sticky situation.

It's hard to hide the really dank stuff though -you can smell it through lead.

Considering your upstanding reputation for being a responsible hard working employee that would never cut corners or abuse substances (especially on the job).. I'm surprised your kid would partake in such evil practices.
