at the Revel, AC BI***ES!!!
 

Been here a couple of days. This place is phenomenal. Finally, something excellent other than Borgata in AC. Smoke free throughout, too. An added plus.

Is it crowded? My buddy went a couple of weeks ago and he said it was shockingly empty.

it is packed. It is upsacale unlike the rest of AC, excluding Borgata. Surprisingly lots of 20 somethings (where do they get this kind of money?)

The place isn't done yet, but it's beautiful, clean, spacious and fun. Army core of engineers is still building sand protecting jetties - so no beach until 2013. But the sand dredging project is done and it will be a nice long beach. This place is better than any other hotel/resort here and as good as Bellagio, Wynn and similar ilk in Vegas. I've been to most of them. This is right up there and surpasses most. Mrs. Dcat says its bettter than Belagio. Reminds me of Mandalay Bay atmosphere-wise, only wioth a more pleasant staff. It really is a very sexy resort. Unlike the rest of AC, it's not a smelly casino with out-dated dirty smelly rooms room around it (see Tropicana, Bally's, Harrahs, Taj, all of them dumps). Rather it is a resort that has a casino as well as great other amenities. I'm sold. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in AC other than Borgata (which I am sick of). No smoking ANYWHERE! I even saw the Revel employees shooing smokers away from in front of the hotel on the boardwalk telling them to walk towards the Showboat (major dump). Ate at the Amata. Fabulous. Great night club for the 20 somethings. TIme for another cocktail. Putting on my best SAR hat... i'M dRunK YoU BtIbtcHEs!
