No surprises here.

Don't get how McKnight is ahead of Powell, considering how much Rex has talked up Bilal. I expect that to change by the regular season.

I am rooting for Dexter Jackson. I know he has failed big so far in his career but the guy has heart. I would just so take him over Turner who will likely take that 5th WR spot.

Minkaveli 08-07-2012 09:33 PM

Wayne Hunter...damn..I just forgot about that guy.

JetsCrazey 08-07-2012 09:34 PM

No surprises. My only hope is that we have a new starting RT by week 1

C Mart 08-07-2012 09:38 PM

Interesting Austin Howard has been with the 1s at RT while Hunter has been out but he's only listed at LT and #3 (b4 today's practice).

Just looking at that offensive depth chart I begin to cringe at the names listed at a few of the positions.

Snell41 08-07-2012 09:42 PM

Interesting way to list Eric Smith. Maybe that's why we had so many 12 men on the field penalties on D last year.

McGinley 08-07-2012 09:44 PM

Only disappointments here are Turnstile and McKnight. How in the world McPuke is above Powell is beyond me.

If Powell continues to play well in the games, I'm sure things will change.

Oh, I'm confident in that. It just surprised me that McKnight was actually ahead of him. Crazy.

Its not like McKnight has been terrible. He's had a really good camp so far..

You just don't like him cause he's Irish

..and we are starting 3 safeties. No way they can beat us with 12 men on the field! Then again, if Eric Smith is that 12th man, maybe they can.

Looks like 13, unless they plan on playing only one DE

Since we are starting three safeties who can't cover anybody, can we start 3 CBs to compensate? 14 is a nice number.

You don't understand how a player who's been on the team for three years, and contributed at points isn't listed higher on the depth chart than a player who had a few good days of camp?
