what happens if howard sucks against carolina? nowhere to go then.

While Howard can't possibly be worse than Hunter (he can't be.. right?) I really hope this isn't our 'solution' at RT.. they should bring in a few guys once roster cuts are made

if howard is better at run blocking then the move is good even if they're the same in pass protection. hunter gets no push.

You mean the Jets are banned from making trades or picking players that are cut? You have a link to that?

Rex did say in the press conference something along the lines:

'Tannebaum is always looking for things to do, we're always evaluating each position, you have no idea who's going to be cut before the season starts and what players will be let go by any and each team'

And I believe he said that in reference to possibly upgrading that RT position even after the fact Hunter was already replaced.

Howard might not be very good at all, he can't be worse than Hunter. Maybe he can at least learn to hold.

Anyone is better than Hunter.

But lets not act like our problems are solved.
