Why do we not want Plaxico again ? I'm sure we could get him for less than $1M a yr at this point ... if you got him and never played him it would be worth it. Who's our number 3 again, Cromarti ?

we need a game changer a weapon type player on the offense.

This is a non-starter. First off, we run very few 4 WR sets - and Plax can't really play in the slot. So who are you going to sit to give him playing time? Holmes? Hill?? Schillens is 10x better than Plax at this point.

Unless you have a better player than Holmes or Hill, there is no way another WR is cracking this roster right now, in any kind of meaningful way.

Any $$$ you are thinking about would be much better served getting some RB depth. We could use it, and after Sunday it looks like we're sure going to need it.

But as a football player - the dude is completely done.

Plaxico is a selfish player who dogged it last year. He would just be a problem on a team with problems already.
