Unleash the Kraken

If Sanchez throws another short INT, it will be time to give Tebow a few drives, esp in the 2nd and 4th quarters when the def may be a bit winded. He did have some nice plays Monday and should have stayed in the game down at the three yard line. Lets see what he can do to put the "play him" conversation to rest....

you do know that both his interceptions came off tipped balls, right? i don't understand how people still think that is his fault. the first one almost could be, but the second one hit cumberland right in the hands.

Tipped balls are the qbs fault. You have to find the lanes to make the throws. Becasue the ball is tipped it does not resolve the qb of any responsibility. Hes got to find the lanes and throw the ball.

I'm with ya buddy...but you mentioned the "T" word in a good context...prepare to be flamed.

I think if you declare Tebow the starter, you have finally called it a day on Sanchez forever. You also must consider the season lost and think Tebow is the long term solution. Now, I think you're nuts if you're a coach and you're going to invest your team in Tebow but I'm not the coach. I think he's a square peg trying to fit into a round hole.

God you're miserable. When the Texans bring the house and ONE DL drops back and gets a fingertip on the ball thats the QBs fault? It's not like Sanchez had 3-4 seconds to throw and pegged it into the DL. He took a short dropback and fired into what appeared to be an open lane. Watt made a very good play on the ball. Seriously, why do you even watch the Jets or post here?

I went back and looked at the game. Sanchez did very well when the Texans brought the blitz. He was very successful when Houston brought 6. He handled that pressure well. Where he wasn't successful too often is when they brought 4 guys.

Yes I do know, and ball placement is what causes tipped balls... Cumberland was high and the other was a dumb play... Happens too many times...

As a stauch Sanchez defender, he gets WAY to many balls deflected. With that said the Cumberland deflection was obviously not his fault. Not a great throw but the guy has to catch that ball.

Besides I am only talking a few drives, esp if he is moving the ball like Monday night... Remember Sanchez is completing 46% of his passes, lowest in the league ,so we are not talking about taking Aaron Rodgers out of the game for a series or two here...

Right, but 99% of NFL scouts/GMs/Head Coaches would tell you that Sanchez gives you a better chance to win than Tebow. If we had Matt Flynn as our backup, i would be on board for a change. Unfortunately, Tebow throws like a girl and runs an offense that doesn't work in the NFL.

Just because Tebow is a big name some fans have this misguided notion that he is a viable option at QB. its comical. ONce the jets are 2-6 and the season is over they can go to Tebow for "sh!ts and giggles" but for now we need a real QB (no matter how limited Sanchez may be).

Didn't he take a team to the playoffs and beat the mighty Steelers?

How's Denver doing with Peyton Manning?

I'm no Tebow lover but to call it comical is just wrong. He won football games as a starter and will win football games as a starter. At this point, the way Sanchez is playing, I'm not sure he gives them the better chance to win.

LOL at saying that Tebow TOOK his team to the Playoffs. Based on that same logic, didn't Sanchez take a team to the playoffs twice and win 4 playoff games?

Tebow was escorted to the playoffs where he did make one great throw in Overtime.
