Election 2012 - Pick the Result!
Alright, ****ers, it's time to put your money where your mouths are ... Not litrally, of course... Call the election and pick the percentage spread. As much as it pains me to say this, I say Obama 52, Romney 48. |

It does appear the national polls are starting to align with the polling in the battleground states. National polls would be even better for Obama if he wasn't getting destroyed in the south and his margin of victory in the the states he'll win were in line with 2008.

President Barack Obama. 50.6
Governor Romney. 48.4 Electorate Votes. Obama-Biden 306 Romney-Ryan 232 Battleground States Obama wins Iowa Colorado Wisconsin New Hampshire Nevada Ohio and Virginia Romney wins Florida and North Carolina Romney could pull out a win in Virginia which would reduce Obama's EC win to 293 still above the 270 needed for reelection. Obama wins by a hair. I get all pissed off but by Friday I'm over it and back to not paying any attention about politics for another four years.

Sadly, the CNN Map is impossible to link once you've picked states of reach side.
So I'll say popular vote is close, 51%, 48% (1% to Others). The Electoral College, however, is not, 303 to 235 President Obama retains the Presidency easily, winning almost all the "battleground" states. Take all predictions with a grain of salt.....I once though Patrick Ramsey was going to lead the Jets to the playoffs. If only he got his chance. /facepalm |
Senate breakdown will be D 52 R 48
with King of Maine and Sanders of Vermont both Independents caucusing with the Dems Murphy will send Linda back to doing Rasslin' interviews and intros where she belongs. Warren will defeat Brown in Mass I believe those are the only contests in doubt in this region Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2 |

House will lose a few seats but remain in GOP control. Dems retain Senate lead and pick up a few extra seats but not enough to reach the magic 60. |
