Forget Tebow, it's McElroy time.

I've always been the utmost supporter but Sanchez has been given chance after chance and he's obviously shot.

Tebow is not the answer and everyone knows he's just a situational player so it's time for Sanchez to hit the pine and see what the kid can do. He's got the size, a good arm and has shown he can move the offense.

A Sanchez start next week is a slap in the face to every person who supports this team.

JerseyJet80 11-11-2012 07:15 PM

He can't be any worse, mine as well see what we have with him

Warfish 11-11-2012 07:18 PM

All I know is it's time for Sanchez to sit.

red75bronco 11-11-2012 07:19 PM

Sparano should reign today. This never had a chanc to work.

Completely agree. But the most important person doesn't agree. Did you just see Rex's news conference?

Rex just said he is sticking with Sanchez no matter what. Benching Sanchez is a pipe dream at this point. As long as Rex is the head coach Mark Sanchez will not only not be benched he will be the starter come next year.

absolutely...McElroy time...

I agree see if McElroy can play , we know Tebow is what he is and Sanchez is not the answer .

Then Rex will go along with Sanchez at seasons end.

Or should.

Who knows at this point what ownership, the only opinion that matters, thinks.

DDNYjets 11-11-2012 07:24 PM

NO. We need to stop being shellfish, wanting to win.

We need a high draft pick.

Leave Sanchez in.

3-13.

jets80 11-11-2012 07:24 PM

McElroy....Now..Its time to see what this kid has.

shakin318 11-11-2012 07:24 PM

Wow, I just got some wicked deja vu....it's almost like I started this exact same thread 4 weeks ago

Vin 11-11-2012 07:27 PM

I'm beginning to agree 100% with DDNYJets.

Leave him in and we're guaranteed a Top 10 pick next draft.

And WE NEED A QB(if one is a must-have). Wish we could focus on getting a Pass-Rusher but at this point, it's OBVIOUS that Mark is not the Answer.

Problem is the crop of quarterbacks this year isn't nearly as good as last year...

We always suck at the wrong time. :steamin:

Which is why we bring Sanchez back next year if we can't draft a QB we like. We need a new GM and coach for 2013. Hopefully they keep Sanchez and let him stink it up while we clear the cap space. Back-to-back high draft picks. Worst case scenario.

2014 we are back in contention.

SAR I mentioned something about the Jets having Bad Timing....

This is probably another example.

In a draft where there will be Pass-Rushers galore, the Jets will end up with another Chad Pennington again.

Then the next year when there ARE QB's to be had, the Jets will go after a Project at Pass-Rusher who will FAIL like all Jets players drafted do.....

Next Draft where there is PLENTY of PASS-RUSHERS, we Draft the BEST of what's remaining. We haven't had a Pass-Rusher since Abe.

Then, after Mark craps the bed again(hopefully), and the JEts have another top-10 pick, they get a REAL FRANCHISE QB in 2015.

2013 Salary: $12,853,125 Dead Money if Cut: $17,153,125

Mark Sanchez is your 2013 starter as well.

Tell me a way Sooth - there's no way around his 2013 contract. He's uncuttable and untradeable. Tebow/Mcelroy aren't good. This team has hitched it's wagon for the time being.

shuler82 11-11-2012 07:37 PM

I've been a committed Sanchez supporter, but after today, I'm done. I can't believe he has to be on the roster next year...
