Silver lining - no more Thanksgiving game

The league is not scheduling the Jets on Thanksgiving night for a long long time after last night.

Don't be so sure. The lions have been doing it through bad years (yes, I know it's tradition) but if they didn't yank them based on their play, I think they'll take anyone who is willing to play.

It makes the fans of other bad teams feel better.

It gives the fans of good teams something to be thankful for.

I'm sure they are also going to flex us out of the Sunday Night game on the 12/23. Neither the Jets or Chargers are going anywhere this year.
