How the hell can we get excited for next season with these mooks running the operation?

I really didn't want to be where I am opinion wise. I liked Rex alot.

But yes, he's lost the team, he's lost his mind, and it's becomming clear he needs to go.

I'm almost ready to support "Clean House", fire Rex, fire Tanny, cut Sanchez and live with the consequences in 2013. Hope 2014-> is better under new leadership all around.

Me neither. I really wanted this guy to work out. Unfortunately, Rex is a bad combination of selective ignorance and general hubris.

Someone who answers the question: "what would you do with Mark Sanchez?" correctly.

I'd be more willing to cut Rex a break if the wheels had fallen off THIS year. But, they fell off LAST year, and every decision intended to improve upon last season has been a debacle. From extending Sanchez to trading for Tebow;, from sticking with Hunter into the exhibition season to never signing a veteran QB to compete with Sanchez, from hiring Sparano to not firing Cavanaugh. The current Jets front office and Coaching staff clearly do not have the answer to the question--- how can we improve? This means they have NOT done their jobs and must be fired.

You know the players still love playing for Rex, they say it all the time. He never, ever throws anyone under the bus. He always says the decisions are his, so if it fails it's on him. Yet us geniuses in fan land know what is best because we played both ways in high school football.

Let's let Rex leave and get scooped up by the Pats to be the D coordinator (Belichick does like the guy) and make the Jets suffer even more.

I think 75 percent of posters here are qualified to be the head coach or GM or owner ... or all at the same time! I mean, most of us run a team with Madden, yes?

John Gruden, Bill Cowher, Mike Holmgren...hell, give Marty Schott's a call.

Enough of these assistant coaches.

Gruden's W-L is worse than Rex's. Cowher's been out of the game and isn't it a "passing league" now? Holmgren has recently done nothing with the Seahawks and Browns.

Better off getting a new guy from college to run the offense. Those coaches are the creative ones. The Jets just need a figurehead for HC. a true leader.
