Why Would Great OC Want to Come Here
 

Some reporter made a good point. Why would a top notch OC like Norv Turner want to come to a team with no QB, a huge problem with the cap, and general chaos in management?

Norv is terrible.

If they brought along Philip Rivers why not?

That wasn't some reporter. It was Adam Schefter.

Look at it from a different angle.

The expectations shouldn't be too high, because our offense is in full rebuild mode and we're hiring a new GM. Should be decent job security provided you're not a total @sshat like Tony Sparano.

Money and if he turns the Jets around offensively, he can name his job as HC anywhere. If WRECKS continues his circus and yet the OC does well, guess who could be our new HC. If the new OC can make SUCKCHEZ into a competant game manager he just might be considered for sainthood!

For Lots and lots of money, and publicity, and a front row ticket to the 3 ring circus.

Gailey and Childress will be very popular around these parts.

They fall under the Norv category..Very good to excellent OCs but poor to brutal HCs

IMHO Norv is a cut above all of them.

Gailey seems like a nice person but his offense is dink and dunk. It will get old but might be perfect for McElroy.

Childress is a doosh. He will never fit in here.
