I watched almost every Browns game this season. Shurmur's offense makes Paul Hackett's look like Air Coryell. Be scared...

I just died a little.

We are ****ed if we don't get Mornhinweg.

Coach coming from a 4-12 team, sounds about right for the Jets.

Some people here overrate the coordinator spot... Look at the qbs these coaches had.

Rex said in his end of season presser the Jets want an "attack-style" offense so naturally they're interested in the most conservative coach in the NFL.

Shurmur's offense specializes in the two yards short of the sticks routes on 3rd down.

Wake me up when we have a GM and OC.

The situational play-calling and overall feel for the game with Shurmur was so horrid it will make you long for Schotty's "adjustments."

There is nothing redeemable about this. I'm giving this info as a Jets fan would have warned Browns fans when Eric Mangini was scooped up by the Browns as head coach immediately after being fired here. There was a very good reason for the firing.

Shurmur runs a 1980s version of the west coast offense. Rex wants an ATTACKING offense...what a joke.

LOOK EVERYONE.....NO MATTER WHO THE JETS PICK, THAT GUY WILL SUCK.

Now all that said, that OC will STILL be better than Schitty AND MOST DEFINITELY Sparano.

Pat Shurmur is garbage. If the Jets make this insanely uninspired hire I think we go 1-15 next season seriously.
