The good news is you are probably the 3rd or 4th most attractive member of the Hampur.
The bad news is that's like being the 3rd or 4th most attractive member of The Munsters.
You will get through this, you will be stronger for it, and you will appreciate life more.
"all those markers, just for ulcers?"
"i overheard in the gift shoppe that the top thyroid surgeon is a big Blue Öyster Cult fan"
"sorry sir, seersucker jackets are NOT permitted in the OR during procedures"
the smiley face on the bottom is a good sign...
Saw the surgeon today and he's very happy with things thusfar. Pathology showed no lymph node involvement from the 12 harvested, so that's a good thing. Since I had to go ahead and get the d!ckhead cancer I did though, it doesn't mean much beyond that it was caught early; still means nothing for my life going forward as this travels through blood as well.
I won't have the genetic results (which has me beyond stressed) for another couple of weeks. Blood tests, which will give us a better idea about metastases, won't offer reliable levels until about the 3 month mark.
That's all I got, now back to my scotch.:P
I hope the hampur is a good source of distraction for you as you have a lot to deal with and have to think about.
That being said, here is some distraction. Kate and a chicken.
Also a through the intraweb shot with you. Cheers!
Well, I finally got back all my 3 month labs. Most important, all the genetic testing came back as negative, so it appears my children are in the clear! Also, my tumor load indicators have shown yet another drop, so it's officially a trend. W00t!!!:D
Muy bien..... good stuff.
Good news Works, this thread deserves a "sticky"
THREAD! You Walloons
How much do puppy kennels cost these days?

Awesome news, bud.
I do appreciate all the goodwill and laughs, guys. It means plenty. Thanks.
Great news!!!!
Great news. I was going to bump the thread about a week ago to ask how you were doing but I did not want to encroach. Glad to hear everything is going well.
Sorry about your daughter's seizure. :( Can't imagine what that must be like for you and your wife. God bless your family.
