He's either been injured(49ers) and/or been caught in a numbers game(Seahawks) where he hardly got any PT. For instance, he produced more in those few games late last season than he did for the past two years with the 49ers/Seahawks. For some reason, he just plays well when it's with the JETS. Hopefully, he can do even better this year.
What he said doesn't affect me one way or another. The guy has been mediocre, at best, for the past few years.
I'm not going to say he's going to be 2010 Braylon.
If he all of a sudden resurrects his good play, great. But, I wouldn't take it as a forgone conclusion simply because he had a decent year for us 4 years ago.
