Yep, ESPN News confirmed Selig has approved the trade.

He didn't sound too thrilled with it, though.

I think it is awesoem to have this right now. I'm disappointed at all the whining going on from Red Sox Nation but feel that will disappear once Spring Training starts. These 2 franchises are going HARD this year to win. It's going to be great.

Couldn't agree more ... this is already shaping up to be a HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT, between two absolute Gladiators

One more thing

These two teams just spent the entire off-season throwing haymakers at one another ... tossing grenades ... throwing A-Bombs

It was as if no other team even mattered ... everyone else was merely incidental ... this off-season was all about a BLOOD FUED being ratcheted up 5000 notches ... each move being countered by an even bigger move ... in rapid fire ... right up until the last day before spring training

MAN OH MAN ALIVE ... THESE TEAMS ARE GONNA THROW DOWN IN 2004!!
