) then $500 a month is a rip off. $300 sounds more reasonable (ie. $10/day). Call some other services for a better price that you can afford or go visit some of you Mom's neighbor's and ask them if they can pitch in. I take care of my neighbor's dogs when they go on vacation, and if I was one of your Mom's neighbor's I'd be in a position to help, but I'm not so I can't. Lot's of luck.
