The difference between this election and 2004 is that this time the republicans don't have control of the entire state government of Ohio. The voters in Ohio kicked out Taft (the worst governor in the history of that state) and the inept, corrupt republicans in the state offices in 2006. We'll see what happens this year without corrupt republicans in charge of counting the votes in at least one swing state.

Too bad Obama is still way too tan to win Ohio. Kerry probably won Ohio in 2004, like Gore won Florida in 2000. Problem is the dems have a candidate that middle America is not ready to accept yet.
