One thing people need to remember is that draft picks have significantly more value this year with the cap situation.
Teams are going to hold their picks closer to the chest than their players because picks typically won't command the same type of money that vets will in an uncapped market.
Since the value of the pick has gone up, that means you'll get less value when trading players.
A 4th this uncapped year could very well have been a 3rd last year.
