Someone very close to me had this surgery. It helped, person dropped serious weight BUT if you saw her, you would still describe her as "fat".
Her eating habits are still the same. At dinner recently, she ordered "creme brulette" after a very rich meal. That HAD to be 600 to 800 calries.
So.... while it helps nothing works as well as discipline.
