Grateful Dead was my first favorite American band. Blew my mind as a teenager...maybe it's where I grew up, but Greenwich High from 2000-2004 was huge into the Dead. I don't really see them as underrated.

1) David Gilmour is not at all underrated. Everyone knows of all his brilliance.
2) I know Pink Floyd is your band, so I understand why you still maintain he's underrated, because he's just too good to ever receive enough accolades in your eyes. I guess that's why I have John Frusciante as underrated as well.
