TORONTO (AP) -- Ray Bourque needed 22 seasons to win a Stanley Cup. His wait to get into the Hockey Hall of Fame was much shorter.

Bourque, Paul Coffey and Larry Murphy were elected to the Hall of Fame on Wednesday in their first year of eligibility. Former Calgary and Toronto general manager Cliff Fletcher was chosen for induction in the builders' category by the 18-member selection committee.

Ray Bourque is a class guy- well deserved selection. Larry Murphy i do not know about-he does not deserve elite status that getting in Hall of Fame brings
