You have no problem with parents yelling foul things at college athletes, who are there to play a game?
Bachmann is selling herself to the public for financial gain, she made a business deciscion to put herself out there to market Michelle Bachmann.
Part of being a public servant is putting up with the public, please tell when the Rutgers women's basketball team signed up to be ridiculed by Imus.
Desperate? Pot meet kettle.
We either live in a society where people can handle being called names (which is all EITHER situation is), or we will not stand for it -- whether it's "nappy haired hoes" or "lying a** B****".
Imus was a side comment that should have flew right by like the thousands of others he made. Highly doubt any of these "young women" would have even known (or cared) he said it. But the PC crowd saw it differently, and he lost his job over it.
Bachmann was "set up" by being invited on the show and then having that song as her introduction. Do I feel bad for her? Not at all -- it comes with the territory (though I hope Fallon suffers consequences for his poor taste). But to imply there's no double standard is at best ignorant, and more likely a purposefully turned blind-eye . . .
