dear the people who hate Occupy, congrats you are like those jerkwads in the late 1960's that didn't understand what all that hippie stuff is all about. continue to eat roast beef and bloviate while the world moves on without you.
Warfish the pink floyd fan why can't your be as progressive in your politics as you are in your Rock and Roll?
Whats funny is that you think anything OWS has to say is "new". It's as old as 1918 Bit, seen many times since. There is nothing progressive (old definition, something new moving forward) about the brand of anti-capitalism, pro-communal, pro-communism rhetoric, it's the same old story we've heard many times. Workers unite, stop the business men, share more stuff with eacvh other, power to the "people", down with the Millitary and nationalism, etc, etc, etc.
True Progressive would be a legitimate moderate libertarian third party, socially liberal, ecomincly conservative, with efficiency and legitimate social welfareism at it's core. And as we've discussed, it would likely get my support.
Siding with modern-day anarchists and communists isn't progressive. It's retrogressive.
P.S. I don't hate them. I disagree with them. Thats a meaningful difference.
