Pretty sure Edcopp is referring to the times Rex is NOT at the bench screaming at his players after a bad drive... NOT trying to motivate the Oline when they suck for a couple of series'. He's not saying the guy doesnt "coach" this team, he just never leaves the white.
Go to the games for the past 3 years, you'll notice too. Because believe me, the way Rex is, if he was off the sideline near the bench, every damn camera and microphone would be right there with him!!
