I never made a claim that 'obamacare' reduces costs, rather maintained that it's been proven the world over that government run healthcare reduces costs less and insures more.
Romney...err... Obamacare, is not quite the systems of Germany, the UK, France, Sweden, Norway and... Hawaii.
Universal healthcare is not a mandate that you buy insurance - it's simply part of your taxes. When we get to that, we'll be paying around the same 10-13% of our GDP, with universal coverage for our citizens, as the rest of the developed world will, instead of 17-18% right now with millions uninsured.
