You won't pay more than 5-800$ for a milspec, depending on the manufacturer. I got one for my brother a while ago for 400$. Springfield Armory too.
I have a Kimber TLE. Remember, a 1911 is the "Ferrari" of pistols. High performance, high maintenance required. A TLE is probably over 1000$.

thats what i have. parkerized.....
ive noticed on this gun, its the only pistol i own that i feel i can actually "see" the slide go back and forth.....as if it were slower than the others. do u know what i mean?
