My personal view is that he knows this wont pass BUT will bring the issue forefront.

1/2 of calories consumed by the fat *ucks of this country are consumed in liquid form, not to mention fries, burgers etc. Many have no insurance or drive up the group rates we all pay.

SOMETHING need be done to the fat lazy a$$es in this country.

This , IMO, is the mayors attempt to bring it up. He is a lame duck and DEEP down HE BELIEVES he is helping society by having the issue so front and center.

IMO....he probably is.
