On a serious note, though.... Greene's (and Tomlinson's) two years with the Jets were, as were most everything on the offense, screwed up royally by our moron Son of Marty's offensive designs for them...
Tomlinson should have been used ONLY as the passing down receiver out of the backfield back (or on rare occasions as a change of pace back when Greene needed a blow for a series). Instead the Offensive Boy Idiot decided that Tomlinson would be used as a heavy duty every other series all downs back running power run plays between the tackles on first and second down
This moronic game plan left the Jets at third and six on about 75 percent of the series in which it was used and managed to seriously damage the production of BOTH Tomlinson and Greene
Fortunately the Mongoloid has departed to ruin the careers of Sam Bradford, Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe and so has Tomlinson. This will leave Shonn Greene in an excellent position to become the every down ground and pound back that he showed he could and should be in the postseason vs the Bengals and Chargers when he took over for Thomas Two Yards in the season before the arrival of Tomlinson
