Comic Book moviews are all fail. But thats just me.

Sort of remake at most tbqh. Also, very different genre. Spy vs. Sci-Fi.

I agree. But I just don't see the same differences with Blade Runner. TR V1.0 was a Campy Musclebound Action Flick. TR V2.0 is (it seems) more Blade Runner, less Commando. Very different.

But some films need a good long time before they get remade, especially if other NEW and not-yet-made material is available instead. Remake Jaws, **** you. Remake Blade Runner, no, **** you. :D:P

I just don't understand why one would want another Balde Runner, before they'd want a new version of other novels not yet made. Would seem natural to want new, not more Hollywood remake-rehash-recycle.
I love comic book movies, so we really can't discuss them.

I was talking remakes in general--sci fi, spy, action, drama--doesn't matter--some very good but dated movies benefit from a polishing up.

The point is--and again--I loved Blade Runner, but 30 years is 30 years--I'd LOVE to see what they could do with it. Yeah, remake-rehash-recycle. :O

And it's not that I WANT a Blade Runner remake at the expense of other worthy books/scripts, etc., but we're all at the whim of Hollywood--they can't afford to take a gamble when a sure thing is sitting there in front of them.

Would I prefer something completely new and fresh?

Of course, but they aren't doing that. They have no balls.
