We're on the verge of seeing, by far, our strongest defensive unit to date under coach Ryan. It's scary good. We're without question, the deepest we've ever been, within all three phases in regards to the defensive side of the ball. From the defensive line, to our linebackers, all the way back to our secondary; we've never seen a Jets defense as fully loaded as this one.
Please explain to me how the Jets automatically went from a good defense to this unbelievable (in your opinion) elite defense up there with the '85 Bears and the '00 Ravens.
All they did was add an injury prone safety, an old safety and drafted a raw, unproven OLB who has yet to play a down in the NFL.
How does that transform into some kind of elite defense?
