HA! You may want to recheck your history before you throw stones. Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark and Joseph Addai all left the game in the 3rd quarter. You act as if Peyton leaving and Curtis Painter coming in was no big drop off. After all, we all saw last season how little manning means to that Indy offense, right?
And Cincy had the division even with the loss. So as EM31 pointed out, why risk injury at that point. And I still believe they underestimated the Jets and hoped they would draw them in the playoffs if they lost in week 17.
