The article seemed like a bunch of crap to me. Wah wah someone told that lady's daughter that Star Wars was for boys. Boo hoo. Almost everyday my kids come home complaining about something another kid said at school. Big deal. If i reacted harshly to every "Jimmy pushed me when he wanted to use the bicycle at recess" story it would be ridiculous. It reminds me of a light duty version of the story where the mom let her son go to school everyday in a dress because she wanted him to be able to "express himself". I'd be tempted to instruct my children to make fun of that kid if he went to kids school. I probably wouldn't do that but I'm sure I'd flash the mother or father some dirty looks if I saw them.
