There is pressure to conform; coming from the parents first. Daddy's approval, Mommy's approval...are all that matter to the child long before classmates come in the picture. Mom and Dad are the ones that have to be okay with non conformist behavior, and still take the steps to communicate this to their kids. If they are happy at home, they can be happy whilst among the "bullies".
Harrod's is making an admirable attempt at cat herding, though. 5 stars!
