Years ago, when Maddog was still there, I won opening day tix to the Yankees.
It was the day before the game so I had to go pick the tickets up at their old building in Astoria. The studio was in the basement.
I got the tickets and was leaving about 5 minutes before the Mike & the Maddog show was supposed to start. As I walked out to go back up the elevator, the doors open and there is Francesa, holding a diet coke and panting like he had just run the NYC marathon.
I was so tempted to say, "A bit winded from the elevator ride? Hitting that down button must be exhausting."  |
He is furious the tape is out. Just denied he was sleeping....lol.
