Irrelevant of yards, Pats D are still ranked better than Jets in points allowed, which is not saying much but is what ultimately counts. Jets D is just as sorry this year.
Pats have allowed 22.8 points per game. Jets 23.5
So both teams allow roughly same amount of points, but it's going to ultimately come down to who puts up more points.

Jets are definitely better than the Pats on the back end. Don't forget some of the points the Jets have given up were because the offense was inept and either couldn't move it or turned it over a bunch. Pats secondary is a disaster, while the Jets have proven even without Revis they're pretty good at covering and slowing down an opponent's passing attack.
