Hussein did and does nothing about uprisings within the Iran-Syria axis, and has only placed weak sanctions on Iran for its nuclear program which continues apace. Instead the MinC took great pains to needlessly destabilize other nations in the ME now lousy with Al Qaeda types that were supposedly eradicated with the demise of certain principals...Zawahiri, Mullah Omar and many others are still at large.
So we have Iraq's nonexistent WMDs in Syria that we are told by 0's govt that we now must be concerned about; Al Qaeda along with Libyan arms and SAMs all over N. Africa and the ME Gd knows where (Mali, et al); and because Obungler decided to exit Iraq completely, Iraq is now alleged to be a waystation for arms trafficking. Is all of this ^^^ needful or needless?
You know that most of the US deaths in Afghanistan have occurred after 0 took office, right? After the surge. His regime has foisted absurd ROE on the military which has led to needless American deaths.
The only year Iraq ever made up the majority of the US deficit was 2007, the year of the surge. The cost high but dwarfed by entitlements overall. Whether you were for or against that war, it's over. OweBowMao's needless spending hardon for stimulus waste alone is going to cost at least 3T through 2019. And thats before the waste of PPACA and suchlike.
