For quite a while there was a lot of excitement that Romney was going to select Cuban-American Marco Rubio as his VP nominee.
Then Romney decided to not be inclusive and he selected another white guy when he picked Paul Ryan.
The all white male Romney/Ryan ticket combined with an all white male Romney campaign staff combined with two white male Republican Senators saying stupid things regarding women meant easy defeat for Mitt Romney.
Obama's ticket and campaign team was full of minorities and women.
