If you want to argue that there should not have been an embassy in Libya because they could not defend the embassy , then you should also ask for the closing of the embassies in countries where there have been attacks (ie. Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Uzbekistan) and in other countries where their ability to defend our embassy is in question (ie. Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Rwanda, Ghana to name a few).

The folks who are screaming about Benghazi are insincere and trying to score political points.

Your point on our involvement in Libya is well taken but has little to do with the attack on our embassy
Wrong. The President made a show of having diplomats undefended on the ground in a country that he helped create a civil conflict in. That is very different then having CIA in hardened bunkers in Iraq or Afganistan.

We should never put our diplomats in countries that they refuse or can't defend them.
