By winning this game the Jets will prove that they can actually beat a playoff team if they make it to the postseason. This is their last chance to do so the rest of the way.
The fact is the Jets backs are to the wall here, they just can't lose this game and they know it. The Pats can afford to lose this one while the Jets have to play it like it's the Superbowl. They will be gunning for Tom Brady and the DB's will handing out the hits like Cromartie did against the Rams. Amendola came hobbling off the field from those hits yesterday and so will Welker and crew on Thursday.
The Jets have no choice, it's do or die, right here right now, there's only one way back and it goes through the Patriots on thursday.
