You are really upset that a player was training specifically for the biggest audition of his life as opposed to doing straight football drills?
I would venture to guess that the majority of incoming rookies train the same way and that is one of the biggest reasons you see such a large jump in progress after the second training camp.
This kid has a good head on his shoulders, like he said, he is probably swimming in information right now.
I still think he could beast mode next year when he won't have to think so much.
