Well it all starts at the top it's true, but two years ago we were a team that could contend for the superbowl and now we're a disaster.
I'm giving him this off season till I throw him under the bus. In my view Tannenbaum has been a disaster and he must be replaced. The way he's traded off draft picks, the way he's gotten rid of solid veterans to save minimal dollars. The way he signed Santonio Holmes (a person who was given up for a 5th rounder a year earlier and who's never had a 1000 yard season) for a $25M signing bonus. For that money he could have gotten 5 solid players. He has depleted this team to a perennial non contender.
People want to complain about Sanchez, but Tannenbaum has made NO investment in this offense since Sanchez was drafted aside from Holmes. Sanchez is constantly on the run and has to force things to happen using 2nd rate talent and a very limited running game.
On the defensive side of the ball our draft picks haven't panned out. Name one impact player on this defense aside from Revis. Two first round picks used on the DL and we still have no pass rush.
Do the right thing Woody, get someone in here who can rebuild this team. Parcells turned around a 1-15 team in one year through getting rid of dead weight and maximizing the amount of draft picks he had and he had less to work with than we do now. It can be done.
